What is a Calendar? The calendar is a method to arrange days. It assigns names to specific lengths of time. It is usually the months, days, weeks and years. Most commonly, the unit of time is a day. A date refers to a specific name for a day in the calendar. The calendar itself is a physical record in this type of system. Holidays The calendar contains days of celebration from around the world. Some are marked on an exact date, whereas others are not. There are many holidays that are widely observed around the world. certain of them aren't widely known, but are certainly popular. For instance, Groundhog Day is a event that is based upon the legend that the groundhog could predict winter. The day is celebrated with the well-known film of the same name. Other celebrations include World Radio Day, which is a celebration of radio's role as a source of information and freedom of expression.
